ChessVex

ChessVex is an online multiplayer chess project built to work across both web browsers and Windows desktop.

This version demonstrates a live connection between the browser version and the Windows EXE version. Both versions connect to the same server, allowing players to play, send messages, and interact with each other in real time.

The goal of ChessVex is to create a modern online chess experience that feels smooth, connected, and accessible from different platforms.

Cross-Platform Connection

ChessVex proves that a browser-based chess game can also work as a desktop application while staying fully connected online.

You can open the game in the browser and in the EXE version at the same time, connect both versions to the same live environment, send messages, and play without connection problems.

Current Status

ChessVex is currently in active development. This release is a working test version focused on multiplayer connection, web-to-desktop compatibility, and real-time communication.

More features, UI improvements, gameplay systems, and online features will be added in future updates.
